Speaking as someone who has had to hock around $50,000 worth of gold and diamonds (and got back a few hundred of that 50k), that diamond ring you were comparing, should NOT cost more than $80 AT MOST if it is solid 14k. That is what I would get hocking it. I have an entire large bag filled with diamonds and every stone you could imagine that is worthless. Diamonds are worthless rocks after all. No one will buy them on the market. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WILL BUY THEM ARE PEOPLE IN THE MARKET to buy. Then, you could sell it to them, but you will still get nothing close to what you paid.
